Lightpainting/long exposure photography

Featured here are lightpaintings.  We make these primarily in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, but occasionally venture further.  Lightpainting is a long-exposure photography technique where I am actually in the frame drawing with light using a variety of tools to create the art you see here.  There is no photoshop, and minimal editing to adjust contrast, saturation etc.  Everything you see in these pictures was created at the time we took it!

My goal with these is to incorporated colors and movements in harmony with natural scenes to express and capture the human experience of our precious earth.
